Information Please!
Well now, read a friend's blog about this DJ who commented about blogging. Apparently, she wasnt interested in what we were eating or what we do everyday. We must put something informative on our blogs.
Urm, It went something like this :
“ Do I really want to know what Richard or Sam had for lunch or what they bought that day? Do I really want to hear about some pink skirt that some 18 year old bought from DKNY? I wish there were more bloggers who blogged or shared information that would improve the quality of life for others or help people to be more knowledgeable.”
I'm not quoting you Miss DJ! Plus, you said it on air, so i can repeat what you say hor. :P
Eh. I wonder if my post on national animal is informative enough for her? I mean, now you know what the national animal of Singapore is right?
Okie, my thoughts. But meanwhile. let me sidetrack abit first.
Initially, i blogged with the intention of just letting my friends read what goes on in my life, my thoughts etc. Then there was all these buzz about blogs being public blah blah and blah. So. Ok! If you happen to chance upon my page. Helo!
But anyway. If anyone was to chance upon my page and like link it to everywhere or whatever, i wouldnt bitch about it lar. I know its online lor! At the very most, i jus remove what i dont want people to see lor. No big deal rite.
Okie okie, back to the topic about being informative.
Eh. Well. I beg to differ. I mean. If everyone's blog is supposed to be informative.. And we all read the same news everyday.. then everything would just be repetitive? Sides. You can always get information from the newspaper and Tv right! ok, ok, if you dont agree with me. No matter, everyone has their own thoughts right? Freedom of speech. Haha.
Honestly. If everyone were to try to be informative. Its all gonna be so.. urm.. boring? Well, maybe i am the only one who thinks this way. But, its kinda interesting to read about other peoples' lives? Even if you dont know them. Its also information? Information about tom, dick or harry lor.
Or say. When i do a search on a certain topic on the web, looking for information. On top of all the websites that provide info, peoples' blogs are going to come up too. Cool right. (in fact, i think its already happening) No offense to all those who provides loads of info on your blogs. I enjoy them, and the thoughts that are input inside too. Just that. I guess everything's up to individual. It doesnt matter what you blog, just so long you know its online and dont bitch about it when people talk about your blog.
Dont just do something cos its the craze can already rite!

Don't you listen to the mean old blogger Joe!
Your blog is one of the funnier, more interesting ones I have stumbled across, and that's because it is REAL!
I like to see a mix of topics, some funnies, personal stuff, random info.
Regardless of the fact that these things can be public, they still remain personal. Otherwise, what's the point?
